Member club volunteers/administrators are invited to join us for a weekend of fun ....... and work!

Saturday, November 12: 9:30 a.m. - noon ~ Publicity and Social Media 101 (Sandra Lewis)
Publicity and Social Media 101 focuses on easy, inexpensive and effective ways to promote your club and programs. Interact in new ways with members, potential members using social media. Learn the basics of media releases, contacting media outlets, how to build your social media plan and what platforms to use.

Saturday, November 12: 1 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. ~ Complying with Changes to the BC Society Act (Marilyn Payne)
Learn what the new BC Society Act means to your club. What changes are needed to your policies, procedures and governance practices? There are significant changes to the act and they affect every non-profit in B.C. Send your constitution now to [email protected] by September 30 so Marilyn has can review and recommend changes to your board members. Be ready for the new act.

Sunday, November 13: 9:30 a.m. - noon ~ Shared Best Practices (You!!)
Our clubs are doing great things! Here’s your chance to share your best practices and get some new ideas. CKBC is only as strong as our clubs so join us for a morning of working together. Everyone who shares a club best practice receives a complimentary ticket to CKBC’s Awards and Scholarship Banquet! Send your ideas to [email protected] by October 15!
