2017 Fall Training Camp

Details of the camp were sent out to registered athletes.

Time/location:

We'll meet Friday at 10 am at False Creek Sprint Canoe Club/False Creek Racing Canoe Club (1318 Cartwright St, Vancouver, BC V6H 3R8).

Our first training will start at 10:30 am. We should be done around 5:15-5:30 pm.

Training will start on Saturday and Sunday at 8 am.Trainings should be finished around 5:15-5:30 pm on Saturday, and around 12:30 pm on Sunday.

Please come prepared for all weather conditions... meaning bring more clothes than you think is necessary! Also, pack your running gear, watch and water bottle. Beyond training gear, bring lots of food for the day (e.g. snacks and a lunch). There are a number of shops and restaurants around the Club too.

Other Stuff:

Parking: for those athletes that are parking at the club during the camp, there is a parking lot right beside the club. It's $15/day. There is also free 3 hr parking along the Island (look for the signs). Parking patrol does record your licence plate, and unfortunately you can't simply move your car after 3 hrs. It's a one shot deal for the day. On Sundays, there is free parking all day anywhere along Lameys Mill Rd.

Sample sale: there's a sample sale happening on Saturday at the Granville Island Hotel. It's cash only.
