| Details | Athletes achieving HP status will be invited to participate in this Pacific Northwest training camp that is supported by both the CKC and USACK National Development Coaches with athletes from Alberta, BC and Washington participating. Athletes will be training in groups based on their speed (LTAD!) and coaches will be shared between the groups allowing opportunities for much feedback for athletes; and mentoring for coaches. ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST HAVE A VALID PASSPORT. Athletes will be hosted (billeted) by the Seattle Canoe Club members who will provide a light breakfast each morning. All other meals will be served from the Canoe Club and prepared by Seattle volunteers so any parents attending are invited to volunteer as well; the more the merrier! Mac Hickox (the US National Development Coach - himself a former Olympian and Olympic medalist's coach) will be attending for most of the week and has a lot to offer both our athletes and our coaches. Athletes interested in attending should contact Aasim directly and will be responsible for making all of their own arrangments for attendance. |
