Eric Hughes Long Distance Race

The annual Eric Hughes Long Distance Regatta will be held this Saturday, November 13th on Green Lake at the Seattle Canoe and Kayak Club Boathouse. We will be offering a 5k option for youth and adult novice athletes as well as a 10k option for all other participants. New this year - all athletes are welcomed to participate in one of two exciting team boat events to be run over our classic Duck Island Loop after the long distance events have concluded. All events are open to all paddle powered water craft, ICF boats are not required for participation.

Registration will open at 8:00 am, the pre-race athlete meeting will be at 9:30 am, and the first race will begin at 10:00 am. The 2010 SCKC Eric Hughes Regatta Team/Individual Entry Form has been attached for your convenience. A 2010 Seattle Parks Risk and Release also attached will need to be completed by each participant. The race entry fee for the Eric Hughes Long Distance Regatta is $20 dollars.

12:45 pm: Team Boat Double the Duck Race Novice
