DESCRIPTION:On August 26th\, the Games Organizing Committee is hosting the 
 first ever CDIC Active Living Day located at St. Lawrence Park\, Brockville
 . The CDIC Active Living Day schedule will consist of 17 recreational event
 s dedicated to having fun and raising awareness about senior’s healthy li
 ving. Also scheduled\, are four Open Canadian Championships including the 5
 km & 10Kkm Road Race and 200m flat water sprints in Canoeing and Kayaking (
 C1/C2\, K1K2).

\nThis is the first time in the Canada 55+ Games history
  that anyone (including those from outside Canada) can enter to compete wit
 hout first qualifying at provincial championships. We are extending this op
 portunity to anyone 55 and older within your network or programming to regi
 ster in the Open Canadian Championship events.
