This workshop is the first step to becoming a competitive whitewater coach and introduces the basic elements of all four whitewater disciplines. Learn how to describe and demonstrate the fundamentals of slalom, canoe polo, wildwater and freestyle technique.

You’ll develop an understanding of how to plan a whitewater practice, ensure the safety of participants on the water, and analyze performance of basic competitive paddling skills on flatwater and whitewater.

Format:
2-day workshop with 1 day of classroom based learning and 1 day of practice teaching skills on flatwater and class 2 whitewater.

Whitewater Entry Level Competitive Coach Evaluation
Coaches who successfully complete the following evaluation requirements will receive a “ELCC Certified” status.
Complete Making Ethical Decisions Online Evaluation
Portfolio Submission
Training Observation

Early Bird Deadline is April 20 for a $50 price reduction
CKBC members - $300 (less 50 for early bird pricing)
