Canoe Kayak BC acknowledges this course is offered on the traditional territory of the Qayqayt, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh (səl̓ilwətaɁɬ) xʷməθkʷəy̓əm First Nations.

This course is a Coaching for Community Sport National Coaching Certification Program recognized course that is required for those delivering summer programs at our registered canoe clubs and is suitable for those wishing to deliver canoe/kayak programs in the community.

This introductory paddling skills development program focuses on the development of flatwater canoe and kayak paddling skills in a safe, fun environment.

There will be an 'extra' module to assist with final preparations for summer programming.

Coaches are REQUIRED to take the Canucks Autism Network Workshop (which is FREE when you register for for the CanoeKids Coaching course).

There will be a 'water' session so please dress appropriately.
On Saturday, the morning classroom session with be at Fortius Sport Centre in the London Room (1st Floor) and the Afternoon session will be at False Creek Canoe Club on Grandville Island (due to Burnaby Lake location being NOT available on this day).

$50 EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT if registered before June 17.

Registration fee - $180 + $30 CKC fee for CKBC members (includes a CanoeKids Instructor Shirt)

$230 + $30 CKC fee for non members (includes a CanoeKids Instructor Shirt)
