Canoe Kayak BC acknowledges this course is offered on the traditional territory of the KSkwxwú7mesh Úxwumixw, Stz'uminus S’ólh Téméxw (Stó:lō), Tsleil-Waututh (səl̓ilwətaɁɬ) and the Hul’q’umi’num’ / Halq’eméylem / hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ First Nations. The Saturday portion of this course will be held at Fortius Sport Centre in Burnaby and we will be in the London Room on the First floor.
This course is a Coaching for Community Sport National Coaching Certification Program recognized course that is required for those delivering summer programs at our registered canoe clubs and is suitable for those wishing to deliver canoe/kayak programs in the community. This introductory paddling skills development program focuses on the development of flatwater canoe and kayak paddling skills in a safe, fun environment. There will be a 'water' session so please dress appropriately. $50 EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT if registered before May 28.
