Burnaby Paddle-A-Thon 2019

The Burnaby Canoe & Kayak Club, located at Burnaby Lake, is pleased to announce their participation in the 2019 Paddle-a-thon.  

Our club’s mission is to foster both participation and athletic excellence in the sport of flat water canoeing and kayaking. We have been on the water for years, teaching and watching our members grow their love for the sport. From beginner paddlers to competitive paddlers to Olympic hopefuls, to all that just love to be on the water, our club has something to offer for everyone, regardless of age or ability.

Thanks to our tremendous coaches and passionate team, our club continues to grow and get better every year. This year our goal is to raise enough funds to be able to purchase two new team boats and pay for boat transportation to Nationals.

All contributions of $20 or more will receive donation receipt for tax deductions. Your support in our pursuit of this goal is greatly appreciated and will allow us to offer better equipment and time to all of our athletes and we thank you for your contributions.

Date: Saturday, June 1, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Location: Burnaby Lake

Details: Paddlers will set a target number of kilometres to paddle during the four hour period.
