CKBC and the Fort Canoe Kayak Club have partnered to host a sprint athlete training clinic for females in the province! Skill Level: New paddlesport participants to high performance athletes! The clinic consists of on and off water lessons and activities including: technique, confidence building, fitness and health, industry skills and overall knowledge on the sport and how females can better themselves in it. Some of B.C.'s best coaches and top athletes are scheduled to provide instruction. Participation is capped at 20 females to achieve the maximum one-on-one time between athletes and coaches.
